A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of GutGard® in the patients with functional dyspepsia.

GutGard® treatment showed a marked improvement of 45% over placebo in the global assessment of efficacy, and significantly decreased the Nepean dyspepsia index on day 15 and day 30

Conclusion:
Efficacy and tolerability ascertains GutGard® for supporting healthy gut. Clinical investigation confirms it to be safe for use in human, without any ill effect. Being a botanical derivative with a long history of use in Ayurveda present study stands as a scientific support towards the use of standardized extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra for maintaining healthy gut.
